SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Humane Society for Greater Savannah is currently in 1st place to win a $25,000 Community Engagement Grant from the ASPCA, but Austin, TX is keeping the pressure on as they are very close behind in second.

Remember that you can vote once a day through October 31, 2011 at 11:59PM Eastern time.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Humane Society for Greater Savannah is currently in 5th place to win a $25,000 Community Engagement Grant from the ASPCA, but they need to be in the top three to qualify for the money.

Help the HSGS by voting everyday throughout the month of October.

New TailsSpin store opens with "Project Runway for Paws"

POOLER, GA (WTOC) - Some four-legged friends were struttin' their stuff on the red carpet on Saturday.

TailsSpin pet supplies held a grand opening for their new location on Pooler Parkway. The celebration included a red carpet fundraiser, "Project Runway For Paws." Tailspin teamed up with the store's builder, Joe Marchese to raise money for several pet rescue agencies and the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society.

Marchese says, "working together we were able to build this store.
