Cub Scout and Boy Scout Fall Camp-outs announced | Events

Now is the perfect time to register for Boy Scouts and sign up for fall and winter camping. 

The Cub Scout “Cuboree” camp-out is scheduled for Sept. 17-18, and is open to all Cub Scouts in the Coastal Empire Council.  This year’s theme is ‘The Civil War’ with ‘Blue and Gray’ activities and re-enactors coming from all across Georgia.

The cost is $15 per youth, including siblings, and $7 per adult. Each Cub Scout pack will receive a ribbon for their Pack flag and participants will get a patch.

The Boy Scout ‘Camperall’ will take place Oct. 7-9.  This year’s camp-out will be packed with shooting sports, sea kayaking, biking, disk golf, rock wall, cope course, map & compass training, GPS & geocaching, and other great games and activities. Individual Scouts may sign up now at www.bsasavannah.org or by calling 912.927.7272 to sign up as a Troop. The event fee is $15 per person.
