Georgia Ports Authority to discuss noise study at council meeting
News

GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC)- Just how loud is the Port of Savannah? The Georgia Ports Authority will answer that question Monday night at a council meeting in Garden City.

The city and the GPA co-founded a $25,000 noise study after folks living near the ports complained about the volume.

GPA officials will also be talking about steps they are taking to make port commerce a little quieter.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at Garden City's City Hall.
